Fellow artists and art enthusiasts I am completely surprised that all the teachers I spoke to about art walk will not be taking their students to demonstration day or hadn't even heard of Art Walk!
Are you finding a lack of interest in this spectacular event at the local schools? This is a chance for the kids to see real working artists demonstrating!

I am happy to say my daughter's preschool class from the Cdc at Keene State will be coming.

Hey everyone! Just so you all know you can invite anyone you want to this art group, the more the better!

Also we should probably figure out the best way to post upcoming show information etc. I think I'll start a discussion on how we can organize the group.

Meet a Monadnock Artist at the Thorne Gallery

Wooden decoy carver, Dale Carlisle of Stoddard, N.H., will speak Wednesday, March 26, at 7 p.m. in the Thorne-Sagendorph Art Gallery. An award-winning master craftsman, Carlisle’s decoys are a natural evolution of two of his passions: wood and hunting. As the founder of Carlisle Restoration Lumber in Stoddard, he has a deep understanding of wood and uses only the highest quality, historically correct woods - primarily cedar and basswood - for his decoys. Admission is free to this Meet the Monadnock Artists program sponsored by the Friends of the Thorne. For further information: 603-358-2720; www.keene.edu/tsag
