I'll start.

When your workday begins with your Pandora Radio Station playing, in succession, "Make Believe" by the Pixies, "Everywhere with a Helicopter" by GBV, a live version of "In the Mouth of the Desert" by Pavement, and then throws in "I Heard You Say" by the Brian Jonestown Masscre, well, it's almost OK that you're struggling getting your institution logo to fit into the wrong format in a slow-as-molasses Photoshop CS on a day where you should be lying on your lawn with a book.

Well, my day started with Fiona Apple, Gomez, Lyle Lovett and Winterpills. The Publisher never understands that images taken from websites are suitable for printing... "garbage in, garbage out" as the saying goes. Fortunately, I was able to read a little Vonnegut out in the sun.

Here's my random thought of the day: the trout lilies blooming along the Ashuelot River are lovely, and the spring peepers chorusing in the cemetery are sweet, but the TRUE sign of spring in Keene really is the blossoming of beer pong tables on fraternity house lawns.

My inner geek jumps up when I behold...

...that the new Dr. Who season features Sarah Jane, at least the first episode does.

There's apparently also a show out called the Sarah Jane Adventures, made for parents like me that grew up with Tom and Sarah, and want to get our kids hooked as well.

Reading Richard Heinberg's Peak Everything. Wow.

Please, please, please.... I wish the City Recycling Center (aka City Dump) would stay open a little later on Saturdays (at least until 3pm?).

Yes this confuses me as well -- can we bring this to the visioning -- "I envision me getting to the dump and not finding it closed."

Right, with a car loaded with smelly garbage and recyclables.
Only to go home and unload them in anger.
I got there 5 minutes late one day, and was no allowed in.
PIA.

A random comment for the day. SM's Hopscotch Willie is one damn good song.

Willie was found not far from the scene
He was panting like a pit-bull minus the mean

Brilliant.
That is all.
